Make an Adirondack chair – from pallets!
In this hands-on woodworking class, you’ll make a summer classic chair. Whether you have built before or never lifted a saw, this is a great class for you. Here’s what awaits you:

- Material Selection: Explore different reclaimed/salvaged wood species, finishes, and hardware options. Choose the perfect combination for your caddy—whether rustic or modern,.
- Construction Process:
- Markup: Mark out the layout using our templates.
- Cutting: Use the templates to setup the table saw or band saw and cut the pieces.
- Sanding: Smooth the surface further if desired.
- Assembly: Use screw gun and glue to put the pieces together.
- Finish: Paint during the class as time allows or take home to paint it.
By the end of the classes, you’ll take home a classic chair (or two) for your own lake or seaside resort.
Note: This two session class is designed for you to make at least one chair. Some people may find they have time to make two.
Note: This class has a minimum age of 15. All those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
