Building on the basics of machine woodworking, you will advance your woodworking knowledge as you learn table construction techniques including tapered legs (table saw with tapering jig), mortise and tenon joinery (mortiser and dado stack), and cutting a beveled top (tilted table saw). Rough milling will be done for you. You will walk away with a completed, sanded side table ready for finishing.

Note: Please bring your own safety gear (i.e., safety glasses and ear protection) and an accurate combination square.

He has happily left the corporate world and enjoys making all types of furniture and other tchotchkes from wood. • 95 masks, safety glasses, and gloves are provided.
• Wear something you don’t mind getting dirty. The glues, paints, and stains we use can permanently stain clothes.
