Handmade Artisan Oak Bowl with Window Within Base

This bowl was hand-turned from a single piece of oak carefully shaped on the lathe to bring out the grain’s natural flow. I don’t use templates or mass production—each form develops slowly, guided by the wood itself. It’s been finished with mineral oil and beeswax, which gives it a soft sheen and highlights the subtle details in the grain. This is a nice odd two-level bowl with lower area into a knot that was in the wood.

This is the kind of piece that doesn’t shout for attention, but it draws your eye anyway. It’s meant to be a quiet showstopper on a shelf, table, or mantle.
