End Grain Cutting Board Workshop
Learn how to make a beautiful, end-grain cutting board. Using two types of wood and starting with rough lumber, you will sequence table-saw cuts and glue-ups to produce a high-quality end-grain cutting board that will last a lifetime.
Note: Please bring your own safety gear (i.e., safety glasses and ear protection)
About Peter Stein
Coming from an eclectic background in high tech, real estate, hospitality, and (only recently) watersports apparel, Peter is excited to see his dream of “if you do what you love, it’s not work” become a reality. He has happily left the corporate world and enjoys making all types of furniture and other tchotchkes from wood. He may even be developing a new passion for electrical work, dust collection and machine maintenance!
This class uses a variety of lumber selected by the instructor.
Our Focus on Safety
- Respect the shop rules and safety guidelines before using any tools or equipment.
- 95 masks, safety glasses, and gloves are provided.
- Wear something you don’t mind getting dirty. The glues, paints, and stains we use can permanently stain clothes.

This workshop consists of four classes starting January 7 on Tuesdays and Thursdays (Jan 7, 9, 14, & 16) from 6:00PM – 8:15PM.
