This bowl was hand-turned from a single piece of Maple, carefully shaped on the lathe to bring out the grain’s natural flow. I don’t use templates or mass production—each form develops slowly, guided by the wood itself.
This one features a beautiful knot pattern along the side—a rare, swirling grain that only shows up when nature feels like surprising you. I never know when I’ll find it, and I always let it shine when I do.
It’s been finished with mineral oil and beeswax, which gives it a soft sheen and highlights the subtle details in the grain.
This is the kind of piece that doesn’t shout for attention, but it draws your eye anyway. It’s meant to be a quiet showstopper on a shelf, table, or mantle.
