Edge Factor Solutions, LLC  (DBA: The Makers Hive) (“Company”) provides access to woodworking courses, equipment and related services through our website (https://themakershive.org, or “Site(s)”). The Site(s), and the products and services on the Site(s), are made available to you under the following terms and conditions. 

Ownership

All content found on these sites and utilized at our events are the property of Edge Factor Solutions.By using these our sites and services you are granted a non-transferable, temporary license to use this content according to these terms and conditions.You are not permitted to copy or distribute the contents of our sites or classes without expressed written permission from Edge Factor Solution.You cannot use trademarks, logos or service marks located on our sites or materials without prior written consent from the Company.

Age Requirements

All participants must be 15 years old or older. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult and must accept the liability requirements and waivers for the minor.

Liability Waiver

All participants must read and accept the liability waiver prior to participating in any activity.Activities conducted at a groups location must have Edge factor Solutions, LLC and its partners added as an additional insured to their umbrella, general liability or other related insurance policies. In addition, the site must accept the terms of the Edge Factor Solutions group site liability waiver.

Pricing and Cancellation

  • All seats are offered on a first-come, first-served basis based upon the receipt of payment via the booking systemWe reserve the right to change the prices of our coursers, products, or other items at any time..
  • We reserve the right to decline an order or participation in our activities at any time without a requirement to explain the decline. 
  • If payment for the order was received, we will process a refund to the customer’s credit card in the amount of the original purchase.
  • The entire (100%) class, workshop or event fees will be credited if the items is cancelled by us.
  • The entire class fee and materials fees will be refunded or credited if the reservation is cancelled more than five days prior to the start of the program.
  • Half (50%) of the class, workshop, or event  and materials fees will be credited if the items is cancelled by the participant(s) between five (5) and 24 hours before the start of the program.
  • No refunds, but a credit towards a future class, are provided for those desiring to cancel the class within 24 hours of the start of the program.
  • One quarter (25%) of customized group or private classes, workshops, or events fees will not be credited if the event is cancelled following the confirmation of the reservation of the venue or booking of the instruction.
  • Once purchases the entire (100%) cost materials or other out-of-pocket expenses will not be refunded.
  • You may cancel your order and receive a full refund if the cancellation request is received at least 5 days prior to the date of the making of any customized items or shipment or drop off non-customized items.Refunds or credits are not provided for partial participation. 
  • Once begun, custom made products or customized products may not be returned or refunded.
  • Missed programs are not refunded.
  • There are no makeup lessons offered for missed classes.
  • We may make coupons and other promotions available to customers periodically.  All coupons and promotions will have an expiration date and are subject to product and class seat availablity. 

Warranty on Purchased Equipment

Tools are covered by the warranty of their respective manufacturer.  Not all tools included in the our catalog or programs have a manufacturer’s warranty.

Shipping Policy

Shipping charges will vary based on the quantity and size of the products shipped as well as the destination of the shipment.  Shipping charges are quoted during the checkout process. 

Policy for Damaged Shipment

If you are receiving shipped products, you must inspect the products at the time of delivery.  Contact us immediately if there are any issues with the order so we can rectify the issue.

Policy Concerning Damage to Equipment

If the any equipment is damaged due to improper use or carelessness, you will be responsible for the cost of repairing the equipment if a repair is determined to be cost-effective.  If the equipment cannot be repaired, or it is not cost-effective to do so in the our (or our parterns’) judgement, you will be responsible for the cost of replacing the damaged equipment.  The cost of replacing the damaged equipment will be charged to your credit card. 

Non Disclosure of Proprietary Information

All participants understand that they will be given access to proprietary information owned by Edge Factor Solutions and its partners. Participants agree to not share that information with any third parties during or after my participation in any class, course, workshop, or event course. I agree to return any materials or information including both physical and electronic copies of any information provided to me.

Photo/Video Release Policy

All participants and their guests authorize Edge Factor solutions and its partners to make reference to, use, reproduce, and/or publish photographs and/or videos that contain a participants’ or guests’  (including any my children’s) image, likeness, and/or voice without compensation in any manner that we deems appropriate to promote and/or publicize their mission.

Clothing

Please be aware that we can get very messy and dress appropriately! We do have a limited number of aprons available. Please bring your own if desired.  We take no responsibility for damage to clothing or other items you bring with you.
